LM317、LM337 & LT1085等高階大輸出電流之Voltage Regulator IC經由此模組轉換可以取得與LM78XX系列電壓調整IC相同腳位：Input(1) - GND(2) - Output(3)，或LM79XX系列相同腳位：GND(1) - Input(2) - Output(3)。其輸出電壓可事先調整、設定完成才裝入待改機器中，不必再費心使用 "空橋架線" 方式修改，也避免不必要的錯誤及天線效應的雜訊干擾機會。Mini. 化尺寸設計只有35mm X 20mm，是修改前級、D/A、CD player等最佳幫手！。可設定固定及可調式電壓輸出（強烈建議使用誤差1%固定電阻或是使用多轉SVR使電壓誤差變化減至最小），使用彈性大：拆離原電路並調整適當Vout電壓即可重複使用在其他系統上。Regulator IC上具備多重保護措施：Internal Thermal Overload Protection、Internal Short Circuit Current Limiting Constant with Temperature，確保使用安全。Ver.2同樣在PCB上也設計了大面積散熱銅箔，藉由銅的良好熱傳導性將熱量散發出去，以維持Regulator良好的工作效率。如果要自行使用散熱片，只需將散熱銅箔部分的PCB折斷即可。

• VRM ver.2設計成正、負電源共用形式，也就是說同樣一塊板子您可以經由跳線隨意變換成負電壓供電或是正電壓供電的形式。

• VRM ver.2 board of output voltage can use four jumper wires to setting Positive or Negative voltage.

• Specification：

  • PCB Size：35mm x 20mm x 0.8mm. FR4 24K Gold Plated.

  • U1：LM317 LM337 or LT1085 series.

  • V_OUT=1.25（1+R2/R1）

  • R1：Fix Resistor. (suggest 220Ω~240Ω/1% resistor to use)

  • R2：Fix Resistor or SVR., Optional. (suggest 1% resistor to use)

  • C1：（OS-CON: 1.0uF ~ 47uF/25V Improving ripple rejection.）, Optional.

    • Positive Voltage Regulator: C1 is not needed for stability, however, it does improve transient response. A 1.0uF solid tantalum or 10uF aluminum electrolytic is recommend. 

    • Negative Voltage Regulator: C1 is necessary for stability. A 1.0uF solid tantalum or 10uF aluminum electrolytic is recommend.

  • C2：0.1uF or 0.01uF/ SMD（Bottom side. Reduce the sensitivity to input line impedance.）. It is required if regulator is located an appreciable distance from power supply filter (more than 4 inches). Optional.

  • 建議皆使用固定電阻來設定電壓，儘可能使用誤差1% or 0.1%低溫度係數之金屬皮膜電阻，可以降低輸出電壓誤差及溫度飄移，達到更穩定化的電壓輸出。

• PCB上的散熱銅箔部份可直接折斷，改用Heatsink，連接位置方向可任意改變以適用於您的系統中。

• Wiring Instruction.

  • for 78xx regulator, please short Red line only in top side of the PCB.

  • for 79xx regulator, please short Yellow line in top & bottom side of the PCB.

• for 79xx negative voltage regulators: cross the jumper wire in top & bottom side.

• 加裝散熱片組裝範例：零件可焊接於背面，使之有足夠空間可擺放散熱片，但PCB與散熱片之間需做絕緣處理，避免焊點與散熱片短路！可使用絕緣矽膠墊片實施。為取得較佳的接觸面，使用M3 x 8mm螺絲、母，固定散熱片與Regulator IC。C1使用SANYO OS-CON 10uF/25V.

• 此範例使用精密1%固定式電阻，設定輸出電壓。

• 上圖是使用另一款Heatsink時的做法。
